As part of the wider regeneration of Meadowbank, the site of the former St Margarets Locomotive Railway Depot and Works is being excavated and preserved for archaeological posterity.

Housing developers in Edinburgh have unearthed the remains of the St Margarets Locomotive Engine turntable, which members of the public can view this Saturday.
