A number of train journeys have been cancelled after severe weather damaged an embankment between Laurencekirk and Stonehaven.

Passengers in Laurencekirk have raised concerns that they have been missed out by the Aberdeen to Glasgow train, which no longer stops in the village.

There have also been complaints about a reduction in direct services raised by passengers in Stonehaven.

Both communities are increasingly relying on driving to Montrose to hop on a train to the central belt.
