The Ingleby Mining Company builds a line from Ingleby Junction to Ingleby Greenhow.

An Act for the extension of the line to Rosedale. The Ingleby Mining Company's line had been bought by the North Yorkshire and Cleveland Railway, which itself was to be purchased by the North Eastern Railway shortly afterwards.
