Lealholm
Track renewal took place over much of the section between Danby and Lealholm stations on the single line to Whitby during late September 2020. After carrying out a ballast drop the first of two top & tailed hoppers was run close to Lealholm station to clear the work site and allow the second hoppers to complete the ballasting on the second newly re-laid section going west. The first section re-laid commenced around 75 metres east of bridge MBW2/68, Lealholm Bridge. Colas 70803 is seen stabled at the stop board beyond the Volker Fitzpatrick tamper which is waiting to get started once the ballast trains leave the work site.
