Description
This level crossing was between the Balbeuchley Incline (west) and Baldragon station (east). A single track crossed Fallaws Burn road on the level. There was a crossing keeper's hut on the north side of the line, west side of the road.
There were sidings for Rose Mill Quarry (on the south side of the line west of the crossing), Rosemill Siding (south side of line to the east of the crossing) and Rose Mill (on the north side to the east of the crossing).
On the deviation which avoided the Balbeuchley Incline was Rosemill Loop. A signal box had opened here in 1880 and the passing loop opened in 1892.
Following closure the trackbed to the west has become a footpath.
