Rosyth to Zeebrugge ferry service axed [Scotsman]

Date: 24/04/2018

The freight ferry service from the port of Rosyth to Zeebrugge in Belgium has been closed after its operators said they had lost all hope of being able turn around the lossmaking route. The demise of the crossing, which has been a freight-only service for the past eight years, was hastened by a fire which broke out onboard the Finlandia Seaways freight ship last week.
