Whittingham Hospital
The hospital railway engine shed at Whittingham, pictured some time in the 1950s. The resident locomotives are not to be seen in this view but a wooden bodied coal wagon stands alongside. After the 1957 line closure the shed lived on and is still in use in 2011 as an NHS workshop. See image 35695.
