Whittingham Hospital
The view into the old railway yard at Whittingham Hospital from the site of the passenger station, the limit of normal passenger services. Although closed in 1957 the bridge that stood in the foreground was only recently removed. Beyond is the old weighbridge house and through the blue fence the former engine shed can be seen. Wagonloads of coal continued beyond the yard through the hospital grounds to the boilerhouse.
