Ribbleton (Red Scar)
8F 48546 shunting at the Courtaulds sidings near Ribbleton on the remains of the Longridge branch. This view from the cab looks towards Preston on the branch itself with the exchange sidings off to the left. Although parts of the branch trackbed remain to this day See image 27618 this is no longer a rural area and the fields and sidings are now a business park. (Note: This picture was previously wrongly captioned as being of 45212)
