Shaw and Crompton
The old L&YR signalbox at Shaw and Crompton station is dwarfed by the adjoining mill building. With the closure of the Oldham Loop on 3 October 2009 for tram conversion this box disappeared and the crossing and tram movements are now controlled remotely. See image 44395
