Shaw and Crompton
A stopping service to Manchester Victoria departs Shaw and Crompton over the level crossing. The lower half of the L&YR signal box has clearly undergone some running repairs over the years looking at the breeze blocks. No doubt an alternative method of crossing control will arrive with the trams after 2009.
