The approach to North Road station along the Stockton & Darlington route from Shildon on 4 April 2008. The remaining operational platform is on the other side of the fence on the left and is served by Bishop Auckland - Saltburn trains operated by Northern Rail. The remainder of the site is now part of the recently refurbished Darlington North Road Railway Centre and Museum.
