Darlington North Road

Platform view at the S&Ds 1856 North Road station, Darlington, looking north west towards Shildon in November 2007. The covered section of the platform is no longer in use, with passenger access provided from an entrance on McNay Street behind the camera. The original station building on the left was undergoing conversion work at that time and would reopen 5 months later as the 'Head of Steam' museum.
