Description

This is a new two platform station. The main station building is from Oldmeldrum station although it has been extensively rebuilt and repaired.

The reinstated line ran west from here towards Banchory.

The station is west of the former Crathes station.

The station is the base of the Royal Deeside Railway .

Royal Deeside Railway Preservation Society re-opens a short portion of the line from Milton of Crathes.
  /08/2011Inverury and Old Meldrum Junction Railway
Old Meldrum station dismantling by the Royal Deeside Railway Preservation Society begins. Work continued in April 2012. The building was re-located to Milton of Crathes.
