Huncoat: 195129 speeds westwards through Huncoat with the 0922 York to Blackpool North service on 22nd August 2023. On the Down line, 150225 is just pulling away from the station with the 1024 Preston to Colne stopping service. The land to the right of the line between this bridge and the station was occupied by Huncoat Colliery from 1890 until its 1968 closure. The old colliery access bridge, which provided a good view of the station, has been fenced off.

Drung Hill Tunnels: A view of the Drung Hill Tunnels from the Kerry Way on the slopes of Drung Hill looking southwestwards in the direction of Cahirciveen and Valencia Harbour with the N70 road snaking alongside and Dingle Bay and the Dingle Peninsula beyond. This shot gives an idea of just how scenic the section between Glenbeigh and Kells actually is - if the line had survived it would have rivalled many of the great railway journeys of the world for its spectacular scenery. Fortunately the trackbed here will be converted into the South Kerry Greenway construction of which has already begun.

Kingsmuir: Looking south away from Kingsmuir towards Kirkbuddo. This portion of the former line has a footpath and stiles to cross fences, but beyond the bridge it is obviously not often used and was very overgrown.
