Burscough Bridge
A Northern Sprinter, substituting for a Flex unit, heads for Southport with a service from Alderley Edge on 24th August 2021. After a long level stretch of track near Hoscar the train has just climbed to cross the Rufford Branch of the Leeds Liverpool Canal and is now descending to go under the Preston to Ormskirk railway line (See image 30748).
