Burscough Bridge

25153 brings its train of ballast hoppers to a halt in Burscough Bridge station, prior to setting them back onto the Burscough Junction chord to allow a DMU to pass See image 22975. The chord has since been lifted and the Rip Raps no longer clatter round the North West. 25153 was withdrawn in 1983, after some 19 years service, and cut up at Swindon four years later.
