Burscough Bridge
All alone, 60004 waits at Burscough Bridge for the signal as it tries to get to Southport on a dull and wet 13 December 2008 to haul a charter. Unfortunately an earlier service train had been routed into the only platform that was long enough to accommodate the charter and there wasn't a driver available to move the offending train. The result was a prolonged wait for a driver to be found and a lengthy delay for all services. [Ref query 692]
