After a short visit to the East Lancashire Railway, 60103 Flying Scotsman worked back to the NRM via a circuitous route on 18th October 2016. Seen here passing Farington Curve Junction the A3 ran via Castleton, Manchester, Golborne, Preston, Carnforth, Skipton and Leeds.
