Farington Curve Junction

The sun has come out since Mark Bartlett photographed 5690 at Lancaster about an hour earlier. See image 25098. Having picked up passengers at Lancaster and Preston we now see it climbing away from the WCML at Farington Curve Junction on 19 August 2009 as it heads for the next pick-up at Bamber Bridge. The train is The Fellsman which is running every Wednesday at the moment from Lancaster to Carlisle and return.
