Bishop Auckland and Weardale Railway

Introduction

This line is open from near Shildon to Bishop Auckland. It is currently used from Bishop Auckland to Wear Valley Junction by Weardale Railway CIC services between Bishop Auckland and Stanhope. North of Wear Valley Junction much of the line has been used for new roads.
