Description

These disused lead mines are in the mountainside at Sron Nan Colan.

The mines were linked by tramway to Glengarry Lead Smelter and, after its closure, the station at Tyndrum [1st] and later Tyndrum Lower.

There are several large areas without vegetation after the smelting and refining processes.
