Works

This iron works was located south west of Knockshinnoch Washery. After closure many of the assets were taken to the Dalmellington Iron Works.

28/10/1850	New Cumnock Waggonway Joined and replaced by the Bank Branch (Glasgow and South Western Railway) opened from Bank Junction (Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle Railway) to the New Cumnock Iron Works by Bank.
