Opened on the Knott End Railway.

Description

Although closed completely since 1950, Knott End station has survived, albeit substantially rebuilt, as a popular cafe.

The rest of the station site has disappeared under the car park and golf clubhouse but beyond that the trackbed skirts the edge of the course towards Preesall.

The Wyre Rose operates the Knott End to Fleetwood Ferry seven days a week on a basic hourly service, the entrance to the ferry slipway being immediately outside the front of the old station.
