Surprisingly high

The Glen Falloch Viaduct crosses the gorge of the Eas Dubh (black waterfall). So far above is the span crossing the gorge, at 144 ft high, that it is only 12 ft lower than the deck height of the Forth Bridge. It is, not surprisingly, the highest bridge on the West Highland Railway.
