Berwick Junction Signal BoxDescription
This signal box was south of Berwick-upon-Tweed station, located where goods bypass and station lines met. It was on the west side of line just north of the Royal Border Bridge.
The box closed in 1926 during long planned rebuilding of the station and a re-signalling of the area. A new box, Berwick Station, replaced Berwick Junction and Berwick Central boxes. The new box was between the goods line and station just south of the overbridge.
