Lochore Colliery Mary Pit: A view up the south west side of the concrete headframe of the Mary Pit.

Golf Street: 170434 runs through a quiet but immaculate Golf Street with the 09.30 from Edinburgh to Aberdeen on 29 February 2024.

Blyton: 66106 is seen with the 4R5, the 1221 Drax to Immingham empties, near Blyton on the Brigg route. Diverted via Brigg due to planned engineering work on 19th February 2024.

Thurso: Thurso station at night, seen from the former site of the market which is now a hotel car park.

Breich: Living up to its reputation, it was dull and wet at Levenseat, between Breich and Fauldhouse on 12/08/1979 as 55009 passed with the 12.10 Edinburgh - London Euston. This was one of the trains introduced following the collapse of Penmanshiel Tunnel in March of that year and on this particular Sunday it was diverted to run via the G&SW on the journey to Carlisle.
