Cononley: DRS 37716 running 83 minutes late heads RHTT 3S29 08:27 York Thrall Europa to York Thrall Europa via Hellifield on the return leg passing Cononley foot crossing and beginning to acquire that grimy look typical of this working. 37425 'Concrete Bob' is on the rear. In the background is Horace's Mill, once famous for producing Cashmeres but now transformed into expensive apartments.

Gore Glen Bridge: A mid morning Tweedbank service on the Borders Railway photographed south of Newtongrange in the summer of 2022. The train is currently passing through the picturesque Gore Glen less than a mile from its next scheduled stop at Gorebridge.

Crewe: Former GWR Swindon built 6800 Grange class 4-6-0 6873 'Caradoc Grange' is seen by Gresty Lane, whilst working into Crewe along the line from Shrewsbury with a freight train on 30 April 1962.

Wimbledon: 700031, Thameslink service from St. Albans City and back thereto, clockwise via the Wimbledon & Sutton Line, heading away from the camera as it departs from Wimbledon onto the line to Streatham via Haydons Road and Tooting, at 12.06 on Thursday, 12th October 2023. Trains on this service run bi-directionally each way through this platform.

Birkenhead North: Merseyrail 777013 was wrapped in blue Eurovision vinyls when Liverpool hosted that event in 2023 and still carries them giving it a very different look to the rest of the yellow and grey fleet. Here it is leaving Birkenhead North heading for New Brighton on 4th October as 507013 arrives from West Kirby. See image [[32986]] taken from this spot in 1989.

Coillechat Burn Bridge: View east to Doune from near the bridge over the Coillechat Burn. The A84 and railway ran close to each other on the approach to Doune.

Edinburgh Airport [Tram]: Looking south east from Edinburgh Airport in October 2012 during construction of the tram terminus. The photograph shows the considerable work carried out in providing a suitably stabilised location between the flood plain of the Gogar Burn to the left and Jubilee Road, which runs beyond the barriers on the right. The first Edinburgh Tram to carry fare paying passengers arrived here in May 2014.

Minffordd [FR]: Ffestiniog Railway Bygones Weekend 2023. 'Spooners Boat' descends by gravity as the 08:55 Tan-y-Bwlch - Pen Cob on the first day of the gala, 8th October. The Boat is a unique gravity and sail powered inspection vehicle on the Ffestiniog Railway. The original Boat was built partly as an inspection vehicle and partly as a private vehicle for the Spooner Family.
