Lillie Bridge Depot: Until 1971 London Transport had a number of steam locomotives to assist with engineering operations and they were kept at Lillie Bridge and Neasden depots. For a number of years they consisted of ex WR class 5700 Pannier Tanks and this shot from March 1969 is of L94, formerly 7752, outside the shed at Lillie Bridge.

Milton of Crathes: The superbly rebuilt and restored station building from Oldmeldrum now graces the platform at the new build Royal Deeside Railway at Milton of Crathes.

Coillechat Burn Bridge: This bridge crossed over the Coillechat Burn a little way east of Drumvaich on the way to Doune.

Brockenhurst: 6050 on the Lymington branch shuttle at Brockenhurst in 1975.

Markinch: 170413 nears Markinch with the 14.27 from Perth to Edinburgh on 10 October 2023.

Finnieston [2nd]: 314208 is seen eastbound at Finnieston in 1980.

Seymour Junction: 58007 at Seymour in 1988, waiting to head for Markham pit to load coal for Didcot Power Station. Once a busy place there is nothing left here now of the railway and much has returned to nature.

Clapham Junction: 387223 on Gatwick Express to Victoria passing Clapham Junction, at 11.02 on Thursday, 12th October 2023.

Edge Hill: 319361 passes through Platform 2 at Edge Hill and heads into the tunnels and cutting on the descent to Lime Street. This was a service from Blackpool North on 18th October 2023.

Drumvaich Crossing: View east from Drumvaich. The Wallace Monument is in the far distance.

Reading: The view at the west end of Reading station which i took to show how much it has changed from Western days in the 1970s. Nothing is left at all. Even the office blocks which formed the background are all gone. A IET of some description arrives. Sorry to say I have no interest in these things at all so did not record the number or the service it worked.
