Carnforth: DB 012 104-6 on display at Steamtown Carnforth in 1984. It was returned to Germany in 1996 and back in working order in 2023. On the right there are a couple of tenders behind, or should that be tender behinds?

Stirling Road Junction: The site of Stirling Road Junction in 1993, with a 37 engaged in making up its train from Costains Concrete at Newmains. This traffic ceased circa 2000.

Aberdour: 170434 passes a very floral Aberdour with the 13.09 from Aberdeen to Edinburgh on 22 August 2023. The gardens are now maintained by local volunteers.

Newhaven Harbour: EMU 7432 at Newhaven harbour in May 1975.

Rayleigh: 720118 with the ex-14.33 Greater Anglia service from Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria arriving at Rayleigh at 15.13 on Friday, 15th September 2023.

Patricroft: This old platform building at Patricroft has a definite lean to it, accentuated by the fact the door is upright. Although the unstaffed station is fairly plain a local group has created murals and information boards paying homage to the nearby Motive Power Depot, which closed in 1968. This September 2023 view is on the Manchester platform looking towards Liverpool.

Dollar Beg Siding: View west showing the long sweep of the Devon Valley Railway on its approach to the Dollar Viaduct from the east and the embankment continuing to the station. In the far distance is the Wallace Monument on Abbey Craig. Balshie Siding was in the trees towards the top left, with Dollarbeg beyond.

Boat of Garten: A photograph taken in 1965 from the 15.10 Inverness-Forres-Aviemore service during the stop at Boat of Garten. The Park Royal railbus on the northbound track, signalled for the Speyside line, is the 16.50 from Aviemore to Craigellachie.

Goathland: North Yorkshire Moors Railway Autumn Steam Gala 2023. Black Five 5428 approaches Abbots House soon after leaving Goathland with the 14:58 Grosmont to Pickering.

Rosyth: 158722 calls at Rosyth with a service to Cowdenbeath. The elevated booking office has since been demolished and the car park extended.

Thornton Junction TMD: 20119 and 20198 outside Thornton Junction depot on 16 May 1991. 26042 is also on shed.
