Kirknewton: One of the traits that sets rail enthusiasts apart from others is that we are generally pleased to see level crossing barriers down. This is Kirknewton on 15th September 2021, with 397003 hurrying through with a TPE Manchester Airport to Edinburgh Waverley service.
Moy: Network Rail will shortly demolish the existing bridge under the Highland Mainline railway at Lynebeg, near Inverness, and replace it with a new structure (seen here). It is part of the advance works for the A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy project.

North Queensferry Tunnel: Lost Railfreight 37070 drops down from North Queensferry (or Ferryhills) Tunnel in 1987, with a short train comprising two well wagons, two CPC tankers and a 4-wheel ICI tank. Scruton: Looking along the restored Scruton station on the Wensleydale Railway in June 2021. Former Northern Trains Leyland bodied Pacer 142060, and sister 142090, are stabled at the platform after arrival with one of the shuttle workings from Bedale and Leeming Bar that have been provided post Covid movement easing. Much of the line is not usable at present for passenger workings due to deterioration of track components over the last 18 months. A mile of flat bottom rail, sleepers and other items have been obtained from the closed Eggborough Power Station for a relay needed approaching Redmire.
Wembley Park: LUL S8 stock on inward bound Metropolitan Line service, just departed from Wembley Park on 26th September 2015.
