Levenmouth: Looking east towards the mouth of the Leven, with the river on the right, on 3rd November 2021. Up to four lines occupied the track bed. Behind the camera, in a corner of the former Kirkland Yard, lifted track panels have been reduced to their component parts.
Inchgreen Graving Dock: A 1988 oblique overview of the Inchgreen Graving Dock from the south. In the foreground is the Wemyss Bay line - the portion between Wemyss Bay Junction, Port Glasgow, and Whinhill.
Marefield South Junction: The South curve at Marefield Junction is in astonishingly good condition for a railway closed 105 years ago. View looks East if I remembercorrectly.
Balwhirley Tunnel North: Standing just inside Balwhirley Tunnel (North) in the summer of 1963 looking down the bank towards Inchgreen. For the view from the trackbed looking back towards the tunnel mouth see image [[78580]].
Bw Rheine (Rheine MPD): A DB Class 042 2-8-2 locomotive inside the doorway of the loco shed at Rheine in the last days of DB steam in August 1977. Unfortunately the smokebox number plate was missing.
Carlisle: TPE 'pocket rocket', CAF Civity Nova 2 397007, arriving in Carlisle's platform 4 at 17.51 with the late running Edinburgh to Manchester Airport (17.34 timed ) service on 30th June 2021.
