Huntly: Looking along the flanks of 70810 at Huntly as it waits for the single line section to clear on 26th October 2020.
Braeside Junction: The Angus Railway Group's 'Five Counties' railtour of 20 April 1974 stops at Braeside Junction on the Charlestown branch. In the left background is RNAD Crombie, served by a reversal here. Track level photo stops were commonplace on railtours in those days but wouldn't be considered now under any circumstances. See image [[27406]] closer to the train.
Kidsgrove: A look back at Kidsgrove station, Staffordshire, from UK Railtours' excursion originating at London Euston, now on its second stage from Manchester Piccadilly to Bournemouth, on 30th April 2016.
Buchanan Street: Standard Caprotti 5MT 4-6-0 73149 rests at the buffers at Glasgow Buchanan Street after arrival with the 2pm Dundee to Glasgow express on 19th June 1965.
Hincaster Junction: 195102, climbing towards Oxenholme for the Windermere branch in November 2020, passes the old goods shed at Hincaster Junction (See image [[65972]]) where the line to Arnside once diverged.
York: DRS locos stabled in the sidings at the south end of York in April 2013. 47853 and 20312 are both visible in front of the York ROC, then under construction.
Albert Road Level Crossing: Entrance to Leith South yard from Albert Road level crossing in September 2016 with the dock entrance behind the camera. The newish looking gate is a remnant of the 'last hurrah' for the branch, when regular traffic made a 21st century return in order to move imported coal from the docks to Cockenzie Power Station (see image [[9623]]). The power station was finally shut down in March 2013. The gate on the right displays my all-time favourite helpful notice which reads... 'Open Gates Before Proceeding.'
Pilmoor: Views at Sun Beck Gatehouse, which was located on the down side east of Sun Beck level crossing some 250 metres east of Sunbeck Junction, on the line to Coxwold and Gilling East, which was one element of a triangle served by lines from Bishop House Junction (south) and Sessay Wood Junction (north) on the East Coast Main Line near Pilmoor. The former platelayers workshop is still in use as a storeroom by the roadside at the north west corner of the site.
Dumbarton Central: 320308 just arrived at Dumbarton Central, where it terminated and is now waiting to form a return service to Cumbernauld, on 25th July 2017.
