Kells [County Kerry]: Looking west at Kells station in 1988.

Cumbernauld: Black 5 44720 leaves Cumbernauld with the 17.35 Glasgow to Dunblane on 2nd September 1965.

Salwick: 331027 heads east through Salwick on 16th November 2020. The obligatory 'keep your distance' signs have appeared on the approach ramp - possibly a little superfluous at Salwick which averages less than five passengers per day.

Ely: An EMT Class 158 crosses the River Great Ouse at Ely on 4 July 2012. The station is to the left of the photo and the train will have reversed there while working between Liverpool and Norwich.

Leeming Bar: Preserved J72 no 69023 photographed during a spell on the Wensleydale Railway. The Worsdell 0-6-0T was photographed on a quiet Monday morning in the summer of 2012 stabled in the yard at Leeming.

Pilmoor: Views at Sun Beck Gatehouse which was located on the down side east of Sunbeck level crossing some 250 metres east of Sun Beck Junction, on the line to Coxwold and Gilling East, which was one element of a triangle served by lines from Bishop House Junction (south) and Sessay Wood Junction (north) on the East Coast Main Line. Also on site is the former crossing cabin, seen with the window used to keep a look out through whilst sitting in the cabin.

Danycoed Halt: Gwili Railway train just arrived at the current northern terminus of the line at Danycoed, on 9th June 2018. The Gwili Railway has plans to extend north of Danycoed to Llanpumpsaint but, of course, that has been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
