Aberdeen Waterloo: Colas 70803 at Aberdeen Waterloo on Sunday 22 November 2020. I have never seen so many tanks down in Waterloo before, and in the bottom right corner of the photo is the end of a another rake of around twelve tanks berthed up in the siding. No space left for any more.

Salwick: 331005 pass the island platform at Salwick with an eastbound service on 16th November 2020. See image [[19186]] from the same vantage point in 1982. The risk assessment has clearly shown that the ramp parapet would be too tempting.

Kemble: GWR 6024 'King Edward I' stopped at Kemble waiting for a northbound HST to clear the single line section. This was in the days before the Swindon to Kemble line was redoubled. A winter evening shot around 2000 hours. 400 iso, F8, requiring a one minute exposure on a tripod. 31st Jan 1994

Heriot: Looking north towards Heriot in June 2014, with the A7 on the far right and the Old Stage Road on the left. Running across the picture between the two in the middle distance is the rerouted section of the B709 being built a quarter of a mile south of the original alignment which ran via the former Heriot level crossing (see image [[46103]]). The second new bridge located nearer the camera to the right is shown in more detail at image [[74813]].
