Nantwich: The 1131 hrs, TfW service from Manchester to Carmarthen with 175116, passes Nantwich on 1 October 2020. The main station building on the left is now a restaurant.

Clachnaharry Swing Bridge: ScotRail 158720 runs past Clachnaharry signal box on a wet and windy 3 October 2009 with the 12.16 Inverness - Dingwall service, just as the sun puts in a welcome appearance.

Caledonia Works: I saw a reference recently to Andrew Barclay's interest in astronomy on Railscot, which reminded me of an official visit I made to the site in 1982. This is the loft of the Caledonia Works, the far end of which was used by Andrew Barclay himself as an astronomical observatory.

Sharpness Docks: Rails in the road, and in the centre of one of the swing bridges, in the basin at Sharpness Docks on 2nd August 2020.

Milnthorpe: This view from the main road shows the old entrance to Milnthorpe station goods yard. The horse tramway from Gatebeck Powder Works ran along here to terminate in a secure warehouse that was used to store gunpowder products prior to loading on trains. The works and 3.5 mile tramway closed in 1937. ROG 57312 passes the site running light engine from Leicester to Kilmarnock on 11th October 2020.
