Montevideo Central General Artigas
Looking, through the security fence, along the frontage of Montevideo Central station, in February 2024, twenty one years after it closed when the line was cut back by some five hundred metres. Hopefully the funds can be found to turn this splendid building into something worthy of a capital city but it is not ideally situated for the usual tourist haunts.
