Lasswade Viaduct

Looking over the Valley of the North Esk on 11 March 2018 showing part of Lasswade Viaduct. Designed by Sir Thomas Bouch and constructed by the Esk Valley Railway in 1867 the branch ran to Polton along the valley to the left, with the former Lasswade station just off picture to the right. The branch closed to all rail traffic in 1964.
