Lasswade Viaduct

View north over the valley of the North Esk in Midlothian on a February morning in 2022. Thomas Bouch's 1867 Lasswade Viaduct saw its last scheduled passenger train in 1951, although freight services continued to serve the local mills at Polton until final closure of the branch in 1964.
