Carstairs
EWS 90028 draws to a halt well beyond the platform at Carstairs shortly before 0630 on a foggy morning in June 2006. Trailing behind the locomotive are the 15 coaches of the down Lowland Sleeper, whose Edinburgh and Glasgow portions will be separated here before leaving the station in opposite directions (see image 9617).
