Bilston Glen Viaduct

The underside of the 1892 Bilston Glen Viaduct looking north through its 135m lattice girder span towards Loanhead in August 2017. The category A listed structure underwent major refurbishment in the 1990s during which the four main bearings (two of which can be seen in the picture) were replaced. The viaduct now carries The Rosslyn Chapel Way with two of the old bearings now on display alongside the pathway at its north end (see image 60627).
