Bilston Glen Viaduct

When Bilston Glen Viaduct was restored in the 1990s the four bearings which supported the 1.500 tonne structure were replaced. Two of the old bearings now stand at the north side of the bridge with information plaques attached. The words along the bottom of this one, seen here on 24 August 2017, read 'Glencorse - Roslin - Loanhead - Gilmerton - Millerhill'.
