Crow Nest Junction
Just to the east of Crow Nest Junction, on the line to Westhoughton and Lostock Junction, this bridge has been substantially rebuilt with a prefabricated steel deck replacing the original structure. There is still a strict weight limit but the bridge only provides access to nearby stables and a public footpath. 156424 passes underneath heading from Southport to Manchester Oxford Road on 27th April 2021.
