Crow Nest Junction
150111 leads a brace of Sprinters coming off the Atherton line at Crow Nest Junction with a service for Kirby on 27th April 2021. Immediately to the right of the train is the location of the BR signal cabin that was installed around 1968 when the junction was simplified. This replaced a large L&YR box that was in the fork of the junction. See image 35542 from 2011 when the BR signal box was still operational (It closed in 2013).
