Edinburgh Waverley
In September 1997 stock for the next Glasgow Central service stands at Waverley's Platform 12. Shrouded scaffolding creates a temporary wall and puts Platform 13 out of commission. Nineteen years into the future the building in the background would be demolished and the platform extended backwards to double its length.
