Edinburgh Waverley
Complete closure of the through platforms on the north side of Waverley in July 2006 during major engineering works, including the renewal of track and ballast. Meanwhile, over on the south side of the station, a Virgin Voyager destined for Plymouth is heading for the Calton Tunnels.
