Ribble Steam Railway Workshops
What remains of 08628 sits outside the RSR workshops in October 2015 while the last few usable parts are removed. The fuel tank, seen here alongside the stripped shunter, had the appearance of a tombstone. Although dismantling had been a slow process See image 40433, looking at this loco it seemed that 08628 could not be around that much longer and by February 2016 it was in Andrew Goodman's yard near Sutton Coldfield in this stripped-down condition and later that year was cut up at EMR Kingsbury.
