National Railway Museum York

Great Northern Railway goods depot in the early part of the 20th century? The National Railway Museum, York, in the early 21st century, with ex-GNR J13 1247, forming part of a display. The locomotive, built by Sharp, Stewart and Company Ltd in 1899, was finally withdrawn from Kings Cross in 1959 as BR 68846 and became the first BR locomotive to be sold for preservation.
