National Railway Museum York
Flying Scotsman in the NRM workshops at York on 8 April 2013. The locomotive is in wartime black livery and carrying the number 502 on the buffer beam (the number it carried in the early part of 1946). The latest overhaul has been the subject of much criticism - see recent news item.
