St Helens Central
Until recently St Helens Central, or Shaw St as it was previously known, had some bland 1970s station buildings. The new station however is very impressive and makes full use of the glass the town is famous for. 156424 draws to a halt with a late afternoon service from Lime St to Blackpool. This line is due to be electrified by December 2014.
